Scheduled Maintenance – PIX Database Update Oct 4, 2026 22:30-23:30 GMT-03:00
We will perform a planned change to the PIX transaction database as part of a regulatory data retention initiative.
The change is related to the management and long-term storage of PIX historical and regulatory data, which must be retained for 10 years in accordance with the applicable SFN security requirements.
As part of this activity, new transactional databases will be created and the PIX application will be updated to use the new database structure.
Expected impact
Due to the database changes, PIX services may be unavailable for up to 60 minutes during the maintenance window.
After the maintenance, the historical and regulatory data will be transferred to an Ebury Bank GCP repository for long-term retention.
Data validation and the remaining post-migration activities will be performed during business hours in the following week and will not require additional service downtime.
We will provide an update once the maintenance is completed.
